Shipping and Returns Policy

1. Shipping Information
1.1 Delivery Areas
We currently ship to all major cities and towns within Kenya, including but not limited to Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, and their surrounding areas. For deliveries to remote areas, please contact our customer service team to confirm availability.
1.2 Shipping Methods
- Standard Delivery (5-7 business days): Available countrywide through our courier partners
- Express Delivery (2-3 business days): Available in Nairobi and major urban centers
- Same-Day Delivery: Available within Nairobi CBD and selected suburbs for orders placed before 11:00 AM
1.3 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on your delivery location and the weight of your order. The exact shipping fee will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. We offer free standard shipping on orders over KES 5,000 within Nairobi and KES 10,000 for upcountry deliveries.
1.4 Order Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after payment confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
1.5 Tracking Your Order
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email and SMS. You can use this number to track your shipment through our courier partner's website or contact our customer service team for assistance.
2. Returns Policy
2.1 Return Eligibility
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return items within 14 days of receipt, provided that:
- Items are unused and in their original condition
- Items are in their original packaging with all tags attached
- You have the original receipt or proof of purchase
- Items are not custom-made or personalized (these are non-returnable unless defective)
2.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalized beaded items
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
- Gift cards or vouchers
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper care
2.3 How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team via email at returns@beadani.co.ke or call +254 XXX XXX XXX within 14 days of receiving your order
- Provide your order number and reason for return
- Our team will provide you with return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Pack the items securely in their original packaging with all tags attached
- Include the RMA number on the outside of the package
- Ship the package to the address provided by our customer service team
2.4 Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective product, etc.). We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return reaches us safely.
2.5 Inspection and Processing
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the items within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email notification confirming receipt and inspection status. Please note that returns that do not meet our return policy criteria may be sent back to you at your expense.
3. Refunds and Exchanges
3.1 Refund Process
If your return is approved, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note:
- M-Pesa refunds: Processed within 24-48 hours after approval
- Bank transfers/Credit cards: May take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank
- Cash on Delivery returns: Refunded via M-Pesa or bank transfer
3.2 Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please contact our customer service team. We will process exchanges subject to product availability. If the new item costs more than the original, you will need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we will refund the difference.
3.3 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:
- Items showing signs of use or wear
- Items missing original tags or packaging
- Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
4. Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging and shipping our products. However, if you receive a damaged or defective item, please:
- Contact us immediately upon receipt (within 48 hours) at support@beadani.co.ke
- Provide photographs of the damaged item and packaging
- Include your order number in the communication
We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, including return shipping. In cases where the damage is the courier's fault, we will file a claim with the courier service on your behalf.
5. Late or Missing Orders
If you have not received your order within the expected delivery timeframe:
- Check the tracking information provided in your email
- Contact our customer service team with your order number
- We will investigate with our courier partner and provide an update within 24-48 hours
If your order is confirmed lost in transit, we will send a replacement or process a full refund, whichever you prefer.
